What is a workspace?
Updated over a week ago

A Workspace is a term we use at NextPay to describe the various branches of your account. Whether you have a single primary workspace or decide to add multiple secondary workspaces depends entirely on your subscription plan.

Secondary workspaces operate like distinct branches of your primary NextPay account. While they are equipped with the same comprehensive features, each workspace remains separate from the primary account and other workspaces. This setup enhances management and organization, ensuring tailored control and customization for each branch. It has a:

  • Dedicated User Access: Each workspace allows for a unique set of users managed by the Workspace Admin. This ensures that access is tightly controlled and only authorized personnel can enter specific areas of your account.

  • Independent Directories: Keep your transactions and data neatly organized with workspace-specific directories. This clear separation makes managing records and workflows more streamlined.

  • Exclusive Transaction Reports: Generate detailed reports for each workspace independently, providing clear insights and simplifying the analysis of branch-specific activities.

Note: The Primary Branch is considered a workspace. Therefore, with one primary branch and two secondary workspaces, you have three workspaces, all included under NextPay's Pro Subscription Plan.

How to Create an Additional Workspace?

Creating an additional workspace is currently a tailored service, not available through self-service on the platform.

To get started, reach out via live chat or email with the following details:

  • Workspace Name: What you'd like to name the new workspace.

  • Admin User/s: Provide the email address and mobile number for the individual(s) you're designating as Admin. They will be empowered to manage the workspace, including inviting new users.

Can we transfer funds between workspaces?

Absolutely! Transferring funds between your primary and any secondary workspaces is straightforward, provided the action is carried out by designated Owners or Administrators. Reach out to our team to enable this for your account.
