How do I fund my NextPay account?

To send money to your recipients, you'll need to add some funds to your account.

There are two steps to complete this process:

  1. Deposit funds directly into NextPay’s UnionBank corporate account,

  2. Log the deposit details in your NextPay Account via Cash In button on the Dashboard or the Deposits Page

The processing period for deposits varies depending on the payment method being used.

📘 Let’s define some terms:

  • Banking day: Monday to Friday except for legal holidays

  • Calendar day: Monday to Sunday including legal holidays

What are the deposit options accepted?

  • Cash/checks (over-the-counter at UnionBank branches)

  • Digital Transfers (InstaPay, PESONet, Bank)

    • Digital Transfers from local banks and e-Wallets (InstaPay, PESONet)

    • Digital Transfers (UnionBank to UnionBank)

  • International Wire Transfer (via non-PH bank)

  • Remittance (e.g Transferwise, Remitly)

  • Others


How do I deposit funds into NextPay's bank account?

  1. On your left side panel, navigate to Deposits

  2. Take note of the deposit instructions

You don’t need a UnionBank account to deposit to NextPay. You can deposit from any bank or e-Wallet of your choice.

  • For international/overseas wire transfers, you can check the SWIFT/BIC code by clicking on See more deposit details


How do I log my deposit in my NextPay account?

  1. To log your deposit details, click New Deposit

  2. Fill up the details

  3. Upload a clear photo of your deposit receipt

    • Proof of deposit must show "Complete/Successful" status (NOT ‘Pending/Processing’)

    • In cases wherein no Reference was provided, users may opt to attach the bank Email/SMS verification containing the required information.

  4. Click Submit for review

☝️ REMINDER: Be sure to log your deposit immediately and accurately (with details matching your proof of deposit) so our team can review your payment as quickly as possible. ​Even if you've made the deposit to our bank, failing to log it correctly and on time will delay the verification process, and you may have to log it again.

If you're trying to deposit multiple checks at once, make sure to create separate deposit logs for each check.
