Let’s define some terms:
Banking day: Monday to Friday except for legal holidays
Calendar day: Monday to Sunday including legal holidays
What are the usual crediting timelines for each payout method?
Payout (disbursement) crediting times may vary depending on the fund transfer method used by the receiving account.
InstaPay, and UnionBank-to-UnionBank transfers
These are the fastest methods to send money to another account. If a payout was made or scheduled during banking hours (8 AM-6 PM) of the same banking day, the funds will be reflected in your recipient's account within 30 minutes.
PESONet

📌 Please refer to the UnionBank PESONet Settlement Advisory (August 1, 2024) for more details.
Remember to keep your recipient information up to date. Make sure to update your recipient details before creating a payout. Changes made after processing can't be reflected in that particular payout.
What are the different transaction statuses on my dashboard?
Status | Definition |
Draft | It appears that you have started a payout, but have not yet completed the process. |
Needs approval | The payout authorizer needs to review and confirm the payout request before it can be processed.
Note: In the case of multiple authorizers, all must give their approval for the payout to proceed. For assistance with single authorizer payout, please contact our support team. |
Pending | There are a few reasons why your payout is pending:
|
Scheduled | Your payout requests have been authorized and scheduled for the date indicated. |
Partially complete | For batch payouts:
|
Rejected | At least one or more payout authorizers have rejected the payout for any reason. |
Failed | Sometimes, there could be an issue with the recipient's bank that could delay the transfer. If this issue persists, it means the funds weren't successfully sent and are still in your account. You’ll need to create another payout to process your payment again. |
Expired | At least one or more payout authorizers didn’t approve the payout within the allowed timeframe. |
Completed | Your payout was successfully sent to your recipient(s). |
How can I track my payout (disbursement)?
You can track your payout with the Track My Transfer feature in real time! This allows you or your recipients to view step-by-step information, letting you know exactly where your money is in the transfer process.
Here’s how to track your transfer:
Go to Send Money > Payouts.
Select a specific payout.
Click Track Funds on the transfer you want to track.
You will be able to see detailed transfer information and download the bank’s Proof of Transfer (PDF) once the transaction is complete—no need to contact support!
Note: Use the Instapay Trace Number or the Proof of Transfer if you need to resolve issues with your receiving bank, especially if the transfer is not reflected in your account.
For now, the "Track My Transfer" feature is only available for transactions made using the Classic Wallet.
How will I know if my payout is completed?
After your payout is completed, you and all of your recipients will receive a confirmation email and SMS with the details of the transfer. The recipient may receive the transfer by the next banking day, depending on their bank.
You can also schedule and approve payouts in advance as long as you have a balance in your NextPay account.
If the transfer takes longer than expected due to banking network delays, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] or use the support chat widget. We'll be happy to help!
