How can I recover funds sent to a valid but incorrect account number?

Successfully processed InstaPay and PESONet transactions are considered final and can no longer be reversed. As such, it's extremely important that you verify the accuracy of account numbers before proceeding with any transactions.

As long as an active, valid account number is used, most InstaPay and PESONet transactions will be successful. It is solely at the discretion of the receiving bank or e-Wallet to verify if the provided account name matches their records.

Any errors in your disbursement as a result of the wrong account number being provided will be separately settled between yourself and the sender/recipient of the funds outside of InstaPay and PESONet. To avoid such situations, we strongly advise keeping your recipient information up to date at all times.
