What is the NextPay Flex Wallet?

The NextPay Flex Wallet is your business wallet on our platform where you can easily deposit money via bank transfer or QRPh.

The best part? No more waiting for verification—everything is automatically reconciled.

Plus, with a smoother, more reliable payment flow, you'll have fewer delays or paycheck failure issues. It's designed to make your experience faster and hassle-free!

📌 The funding method you previously used for deposits is now referred to as the NextPay Classic Wallet, powered by our tech partner, UnionBank.

What are the key differences between the Flex and Classic Wallet?

Flex Wallet✨

  • Availability: Application-based, must be created by Admin users in their NextPay Account's Company Settings.

  • Cash in and Cash Out Limits: Unlimited

  • Deposits: Faster verification with automatic reconciliation—no manual logging or verification required once funds are received

  • Payouts (Disbursements): Faster, more reliable, fewer errors


Classic Wallet (UnionBank)

📌 The funding method you previously used for deposits is now referred to as the NextPay Classic Wallet, powered by our technology partner, UnionBank.

Can I choose not to avail the Flex Wallet?

Yes, it's optional and not required. However, we recommend it to enhance your NextPay experience and avoid deposit delays.


Setup

Will I automatically get a Flex Wallet upon signing up?

No, the Flex Wallet is not automatically available upon signup.

To have one, you’ll need to:

  1. have a 'Business Verified' (Level 3) NextPay Account, and

  2. make necessary changes in your NextPay Account's Company Settings

    • Settings > Company Settings > Upgrade Account > Create Wallet

📌 Please take note:

  • Only users granted Admin Access can manage team member access within their accounts.

  • Only the Classic Wallet is immediately available when you create your NextPay account.

Who is eligible for the Flex Wallet?

All 'Business Verified' (Level 3) subscribers, including those on a Free Trial, can create the Flex Wallet.

How do I create the Flex Wallet?

Before applying, ensure your NextPay account is 'Business Verified' (Level 3) with all required documents submitted.

To get your Flex Wallet, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your NextPay account

  2. Click the chevron (▾) in the upper right corner

  3. Select Flex Wallet.

  4. In the Get your Flex Wallet section, click Create Wallet.

  5. It’s that easy! 🎉

How many Flex Wallets can I have? Will I have separate Flex Wallets for each of my multiple workspaces?

You can have one (1) Flex Wallet per workspace.

Which will be the system default funding option—Flex or Classic Wallet?

The Flex Wallet will be the default funding option once it's available on your account. This ensures a smoother and more reliable payment flow, reducing the chances of delays or paycheck failures.

Can I choose which wallet to use for deposits and payouts (disbursements)?

Yes, you can! By default, the system uses the Flex Wallet if you have one, but you’re free to switch to the Classic Wallet for deposits or disbursements at any time.

Can I deactivate or reactivate my Flex Wallet?

Yes, you can! Simply contact us via our support chat or email us at [email protected] to let us know if you’d like to deactivate or reactivate your Flex Wallet.

Please allow 3-4 business days for us to process your request.


Feature

Where can I access my Flex Wallet?

Your Flex Wallet will appear in your NextPay account’s primary workspace Dashboard, alongside your Classic Wallet, as well as on the Deposit and Send Money pages.

If for some reason, you've made the changes in your account settings but still can't access your Flex Wallet, please reach out to our support team for assistance.

How do I fund my Flex Wallet?

You can fund your Flex Wallet via bank transfer or QRPh. Here's how:

  1. Access the banking app of your choice.

  2. Select the option to transfer funds:

    • Scan the provided QR code and enter the deposit amount.

    • Manually enter the account details and input the deposit amount.

  3. Once the money is transferred, please wait for the email and SMS notifications confirming the deposit into your Flex Wallet.

Full details are available on the Deposits Page when you click 'Add new deposit'.

Where can I check my Flex Wallet Balance?

You can view your Flex Wallet balance on your primary account Dashboard, as well as on the Deposit and Send Money pages.

What are the Flex Wallet Cash-in and Cash-out limits?

The Flex Wallet has "unlimited" cash-in and cash-out limits, allowing you to manage your funds without restrictions. Isn't that cool? 😎

Can I transfer funds from my Classic Wallet to my Flex Wallet?

Yes, you can! Simply use the Send Money feature under Disbursements. Add your Flex Wallet details to your directory, then follow the usual disbursement process. Standard transaction fees will apply.

We're currently working on enhancing this process to make it even smoother for you.

Can I transfer funds from my primary workspace’s Flex Wallet to a different workspace?

Not just yet! We’re currently working on an inter-workspace fund transfer feature to make it possible for you to send funds to your other workspaces within your company account.

We’ll keep you posted when it’s ready!

Can I use both the Flex Wallet and Classic Wallet to fund a payout (disbursement) at the same time?

No. Sorry, you cannot use multiple funding sources for a payout (disbursement). You’ll need to choose either the Flex Wallet or the Classic Wallet to fund it.

Is the "Track My Transfer" feature available for Flex Wallet transactions?

Not yet, but we're actively working on making it available soon. Stay tuned!

For now, the "Track My Transfer" feature is only available for transactions made using the Classic Wallet.

Where can I download my Flex Wallet’s transaction reports?

For now, you can request your Flex Wallet’s transaction reports from our Customer Support Team. Just message us in live chat or email us at [email protected].

Please give us 1-2 business days to process your request.

Don’t worry! We’re working on adding a dedicated button so you’ll soon be able to download the reports directly.

Is the Flex Wallet available for API and webhook integration and automation?

Not at the moment. We'll keep you posted!

How long does it take to receive or send my funds?

InstaPay: If it's a fund transfer using InstaPay, the transaction should also be reflected immediately.

PESOnet: has different processing times depending on the time the transaction was made. Please check below:

Credited 10:40AM onwards

Transactions made from 4:00PM the previous day to 10:00AM the current day

Credited 1:40PM onwards

Transactions made from 10:00AM - 1:00PM on the current day

Credited 4:40PM onwards

Transactions made from 1:00PM - 4:00PM on the current day

Funding Your Flex Wallet via NextAPI

You can now add funds to your Flex Wallet directly from your NextAPI account. This new method is called a "Direct Transfer" and has no fees.

  • How it works: Simply use the "Transfer Funds to Another Account" endpoint within the NextAPI.

  • The benefit: This transaction is free, which helps you avoid the standard ₱20 deposit fee.

If you receive customer payments in your NextAPI account, we highly recommend using this free Direct Transfer feature to add funds to your Flex Wallet.


Billing

What additional fees do I have to pay to use the Flex Wallet?

Deposit

A PHP 20 fee applies per reconciled deposit.

📌 Note: Your respective bank or e-wallet fees will still apply.

Depositing PHP 20 or more will result in a net deposit (after fees), while depositing less than PHP 20 will result in a negative deposit amount.

For example:

  • If you deposit PHP 10,000, only PHP 9,980 will be credited to your Flex Wallet.

  • If you deposit PHP 15, you will receive PHP –5 (a negative deposit) due to the PHP 20 fee.

Payout/Disbursement

Your transaction fee will still be based on your existing active subscription.

Switch to the Flex Wallet for Your Subscription Payment


By using your Flex Wallet, you'll be able to manage your subscription payments seamlessly.

  • How to switch:

    • Go to Settings > Billing Settings > Subscriptions & Billing.

    • Click on "Change" next to Payment Method.

    • Choose 'Flex Wallet' and then confirm.

Paying your Subscription via the Flex Wallet

Once you have updated your payment method to your Flex Wallet, your subscription fee will be automatically deducted from your Flex Wallet on your scheduled monthly billing date.

  • To avoid any interruption to your service, please ensure you have enough funds in your Flex Wallet on or before your billing date.
