How can I send funds via Email Money?
As with other payout options, you need to select "Email Money" in the Receiving Option when you add a recipient to your directory or when you are doing a single (quick transfer) or batch payout.
If the selected option is "Email Money", then you need to input the following:
your recipient's full name,
email address, and
mobile number
That’s it! No need to input the recipient's bank account or e-Wallet details.
Once the payout is sent, your recipient will receive an email notifying them that your company has sent them a payment.
How can my recipient claim funds through Email Money?
To claim the funds, your recipient must complete the following steps before the expiry date shown in the email, which is within two (2) weeks of the payout/disbursement being sent:
Open the Email Money link sent to their email address.
Click
'Select your bank or e-Wallet'
.Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to their mobile number for verification.
The Email Money link's expiry date is displayed in the email under the sent amount. Refer to the sample below for guidance.
